Today I had an email from a prospective client who wrote:

“That is interesting that you call yourself Australia’s Leading Feng Shui Consultant. How is that established?”

What a great question. It is amazing that she was the first person to actually ask me that question. I, however had asked myself that hundreds of times before being comfortable with that title.

What is the definition of the word “leading”? :

  • showing the way
  • leadership: the activity of leading

What is the definition of “Expert”?

  • a person with special knowledge or ability who performs skilfully
  • Having, involving, or demonstrating great skill, dexterity, or knowledge as the result of experience or training

So how have I done this and how am I continuing to do this?

After consulting full time over the past six years I have worked on and received fantastic feedback from hundreds of clients in residential, small business & commercial projects. The properties I have consulted on include places as small as a studio apartment to residential complexes with hundreds of apartments, from a home business to large co-operations. Many, many different clients but ultimately all with the same goal – to get the most out of the life, invite more opportunities into their life and business and ultimately be happy.

In 2005 I started the Association of Feng Shui Consultants and am now in my 5th year as President with close to 200 members. This is a non profit association that is run on a voluntary basis by a committee elected from the membership. The intention is to inform and educate the public about Traditional Feng Shui and provide a list of qualified consultants for their convenience.

I have been both nationally and internationally trained by various teachers and Masters around the world and I continue to study. Anyone that studies Feng Shui seriously knows that it is a life long journey and you are constantly learning.

I teach Feng Shui for the first nationally accredited Feng Shui course in Australia run by ACES in their Sydney campus and you will find the majority of consultants in Sydney have been taught by me.

I constantly write articles, blogs, conduct interviews, etc to help educate people about Traditional Feng Shui to enable them to choose a good consultant who in turn is going to have a positive impact in their life, business and that of their family.

As I mentioned this was such a great question and one that all prospective clients should ask. If a consultant is calling themselves an expert – ask them why? What experience do they have? Ask for references or feedback from their clients.

Ultimately you will be attracted to the right consultant for you however don’t be afraid to ask questions as you must be comfortable with your choice.

Feng Shui is my passion and something that I believe I am very good at. I have absolutely no hesitation in calling myself Australia’s leading Feng Shui consultant and an expert in the field of Feng Shui and I thank my prospective client very much for asking this very important question!
