Feng Shui energies change from year to year, month to month and day to day although please don't send yourself crazy worrying about the daily ones. I personally focus on the annual ones and then take a look at the monthly ones to see what may be triggered that particular month.
AFSC 2010 Conference
It was five years ago in June that I decided to start the Association of Feng Shui Consultants. I had the support of a few consultants including Jude Moar who has been an intergal part AFSC. I am in my fifth year as President and Jude is in her fifth year as Vice President. I know I speak for both of us when I say that we are thrilled to have over 150 members and are looking forward to our 3rd annual Feng Shui conference.

It was such a pleasure and honour to be invited to be interviewed as an innovative woman by Broadroom radio Australia. The fact that they were open to the topic of Feng Shui was exciting and something I am very grateful for.
Stressing about your Feng Shui?
I get so many emails from people stressing about various so called "Feng Shui" no no's and I want to let people know that Feng Shui is not everything and the majority of things you read on Feng Shui (including this blog) are quite generalised. My analogy is that if you are sick, you can google your symptoms and come up with so many different illnesses or you can go to to the doctor and find out what is really going on. This also applies to your own Feng Shui - you can search the Internet for remedies or you can contact a qualified and experienced consultant!
Feng Shui for Kids Bedrooms
Well as a mum of four kids aged seven to fifteen I have had my fair share of trying to keep Feng Shui compliant when it comes to space saving and incorporating Feng Shui! You do however need to keep in mind that a lot of information you read regarding Feng Shui is general information and not specific to your home. Every home has its own birth chart so having a kid’s bedroom in the east may be good for one home and not the other. So I am also going to focus on general info however am also hoping to swash any so called Feng Shui no no’s. Also keep in mind that if your child sleeps well and is experiencing good health and relationships chances are they are sleeping in supportive energy!

Sarah K Jones - Spiritual Healer
Today I am blogging about the wonderful Sarah K Jones. I personally use the services of Sarah K and have done so for the past few years, I recommend her to family, clients and now to you! Basically every six months or so I feel the need for a personal clearing. As I consider myself an expert in the field of Feng Shui, I like to use other experts and I believe Sarah K is one of those in the field of Spiritual Healing.
Clutter & the use of Feng Shui in the Home
Before you can Feng Shui your home or work place you need to rid yourself of clutter. There is no point implementing remedies if you have clutter, as it will reduce the effective flow of energy.
Salt Water Cure
After reading about salt water cures quite a number of years ago, like any good consultant I had to test and experiment with them prior to recommending them to my clients. There are several different ways to set up salt water cures including having them covered however I have found the set up below to be the most effective. Now I should point out that Salt Water cures are not for everyone, if you have small children or animals that stay inside the home they may be unsuitable and the reason for this is that you don't want to disturb them once set up. Also some people just don't like the look of them, whilst others love seeing them develop over time - See the picture below of the salt water cures that I just replaced from my home.
